The customer service is unmatched, 50 out of 10. Even two or three years in, we can reach out and get help within the hour. That just doesn't happen with most vendors.

How to make these quotes hit harder

The quotes above are strong. To make them even more powerful in the wild, here are the moves that turn a good quote into one that closes deals, books demos, or stops a scroll.

  1. Pair every quote with a number. "It saved us time" is forgettable. "We went from 1,500 to 2,000+ projects/year" is undeniable. When you pull a quote, look one paragraph up or down in the Fathom transcript for the metric that anchors it.
  2. Name the villain. The strongest quotes name what broke, Smartsheet, Monday.com, email threads, spreadsheets, "our old system." Don't sanitize. Specificity is credibility.
  3. Tag the use case. Note whether a quote is best for: homepage hero, sales deck, paid ad, objection handler ("we already have Asana"), competitor takedown, or vertical landing page (Healthcare / Higher Ed / Agency). I'll add filters once tags exist.
  4. Capture the "before" moment. What tool were they on? What was the trigger event that made them switch? Quotes hit harder when paired with the pain that produced them.
  5. Pull verbatim from Fathom. The unfiltered version always beats the polished one. Resist the urge to clean up "like" and "you know", that's what makes it sound like a human, not marketing.
  6. Add attribution metadata. Name, title, company, vertical, team size, and permission level (public testimonial / internal-use-only / anonymized). Without this, legal can't clear it and we can't ship it.
  7. Flag the banned list. Customers who've churned, gone quiet, or asked to be removed. Send me names and I'll make sure they never surface here.
Fastest upgrade: drop a Fathom transcript link + the customer's name and vertical, and I'll mine 5–10 ship-ready quotes with the metric and "before" context already paired.
